Clean. Architectural. Luxurious.

Like a fabulous work of art, it’s impossible to miss a bridal gown by Rivini. A menswear designer for renowned designers like Lacoste Canada in the mid-80s, designer Rita appreciated classic design.

Disappointed by the fluffy, oversized gowns available in bridal salons during the decade, many of Rita’s friends asked the designer to create custom bridal ensembles. Even in the overindulgence of the 80’s, Rita created simple yet chic gowns.

The popularity of her work soon led to the founding of the Rivini bridal company in 1995. A visionary, Rita saw a niche in the market for woman like herself that sought clean, tailored silhouettes. Her no-frills design philosophy resonates with today’s bride who seeks elegance in simplicity. Brides simply demand Rivini.

What inspires this humble award-winning bridal designer? “I love beautiful things,” said Rita. “My inspiration is ongoing. I consistently notice art, furniture, architecture and even luxury cars. I love watching the evolution of design and finding glamour in unexpected places.”

Because of Rivini, thousands of brides feel beautiful on their wedding day.
